Alkali resistant glass fiber is alkali resistant by adding no less than 16% zirconia into the glass fiber to prevent the reaction of zirconia, silica and calcium hydroxide, ensure that the strength of the glass fiber is not weakened, and then ensure the durability of the product. Because adding zirconia will greatly increase the cost of glass fiber, alkali resistant glass fiber is several times the quotation of general glass fiber and dozens of times that of cheap glass fiber.
